You Simply Cannot Take Such Rhetoric Seriously Anymore

Kennedy could ask this 50 years ago because by then the conquest of the State by the CorpoRats still hadn't yet been concluded (Kennedy's assassination only two years later was the first overt act of the Coup which eventualy overturned the possibility for such confidence). There was still a sense that, yes, America belonged to her people, and that the welfare of those people was the most important purpose of the country.

Nobody with half a brain can believe ANY of that today.
